Cancelling a reserved day out, one day at a time
Because each day is booked separately, each day cancels separately. That is the whole advantage of buying days rather than a package.
Cancelling is done in writing to this office, and what you get back depends on how far the day still is and on the terms of the company that runs it.
Write to this office naming the day and the date. The office tells the operator the same working day and writes back to you with what that operator's terms say about your money. Nothing is cancelled by telephone alone, because a day is a list entry and a list entry needs a written trail.
Because you have not paid this office anything, there is nothing here to refund. Whatever you get back comes from the company that was going to run the day, under the terms it sent you when it invoiced you.
What normally happens
Three things are usually true, and each operator states its own version in writing before you commit. A day dropped more than a month out normally costs nothing. A day dropped inside a fortnight normally costs part of it. A day dropped inside forty eight hours normally costs all of it, because the person who was going to spend the day with you has turned other work away.
Weather is different and it cuts both ways. If an operator calls a day off, you are not charged for it. If you decide on the morning that you would rather not stand on a wet quay, that is a cancellation like any other.
